Benny's Pink
Piggy Banks
Ta Ta For Now
Benjamin Tucker Petz, aka Benny, Moonman, or Peanut, was a lover of the
colors pink & purple, motorcycles, babies, monster trucks, piggies, french
toast, macaroni and cheese, pancakes and "throw up", helping others, his
family and his favorite stuffed baby Lamby.  He was full of a balance of love,
kindness, thoughtfulness, and attitude.  He was not afraid to tell you his
opinion whether you wanted it or not.  Benny was wise beyond his years.  He
had a love of life and a knack for spreading joy.  Benny's short life was full of
hospitalizations, medications, needles, tubies, operations and medical
procedures, but he did not let that dampen his spirit.  He was the strongest,
bravest person I have ever had the pleasure to know.  Benny's time here on
earth may have been short, but the lessons he taught and the love he shared
will be everlasting.

This website is dedicated to Benny and is just one of the many ways we intend
to keep the essence of Benny alive.  To the left of this page you will find a link
to my journal that I kept throughout Benny's battle with cancer, which I still
update on a regular basis.  You will also find information about Benny's Pink
Piggy Banks (our way of giving back and honoring Benny's memory), view videos
of Benny, see pictures of Benny and his family, read news articles about him,
find links to helpful websites, find links to cancer friends, read cancer facts,
learn some cancer jargon and more.  Please enjoy your visit here and come
back often.  Oh and don't forget~Boy that Benny sure is cute!

"Sometimes it makes me sad though, Benny being gone. I have to remind myself that some
birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright and when they fly away
the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice, but still the place you
live in is that much more drab and empty that they are gone. I guess I just miss my friend"

~Shawshank Redemption
(I took the liberty of substituting Benny's name of course.)
